Thomas More
Prep-Marian, a Christian community in the
Catholic tradition,
challenges its students to spiritual growth,
academic excellence,
and leadership formation.
Salina Diocese
Thomas More Prep-Marian is
a secondary education school within the
Salina
Diocese. The Catholic Diocese of
Salina, formerly the Catholic Diocese of
Concordia, was established on August 2, 1887.
It was moved from Concordia to Salina on
December 23, 1944. The counties included
in this diocese are Cheyenne, Sherman, Wallace,
Logan, Thomas, Rawlins, Decatur, Sheridan, Gove,
Trego, Graham, Norton, Phillips, Rooks, Ellis,
Russell, Osborne, Smith, Jewel, Mitchell,
Lincoln, Ellsworth, Saline, Ottawa, Cloud,
Republic, Washington, Clay, Dickinson, Geary,
and Riley. It covers 26,685 square miles
and has a Catholic population of 47, 456.
Community
Thomas More Prep -
Marian is located in
Hays, Kansas. Hays has a population
near 20,000 and is the county seat of Ellis
County. The community has a strong
Catholic population, including three parishes
and Holy
Family Elementary School.
Supporting Parishes

a group of collaborating Catholic parishes
working together to promote Christian
