Dear Alumni, Friends and Supporters,
The Alumni Association of Thomas More Prep-Marian is proud to sponsor the 38th Annual Auction for Christian Education (ACE) on Saturday, April 28, 2012, beginning at 4:30 p.m. in the Al Billinger Fieldhouse. This is our largest fundraising event for Thomas More Prep-Marian.
The Hays business community, TMP-Marian parents, alumni, and friends have worked many years together with the Capuchin priests and Agnesian sisters to keep the dream of a Catholic educational option alive for Hays, Ellis County, and western Kansas. Thanks to you, our alumni, and many others in the business and professional community, ACE is a continuing testimony to your support of, and belief in, our mission. This year's theme is "Bahama Breeze", and the co-chairs will be Jim & Wanda Fouts and Galen & Cathy Pfeifer.
We invite all previous donors to favor us again with a quality item for the auction, and we ask new donors to be as generous as your situation permits. It takes a large variety of items to make this event a success. We are counting on your support to help the school.
ACE 2012 will feature a buffet with all seats reserved. Tickets for the buffet and auction are $50 per person for regular seating or $100 per person for the VIP tables. Seating at the Auctioneer’s table is also available at the cost of $500 per couple. Tickets can be ordered and gifts can be donated by completing this form: ACE 2012 DONATIONS and returning it to the Alumni Office as soon as possible. Last year, seats were sold out by the end of February. Since space is limited, you may wish to make your reservations quickly.
Please return your form to the Alumni Association with payment enclosed to inform us of your donation. We also have a number of volunteers ready to call on members of the business and professional community to visit with you regarding a donation. An early response from you will allow quick progress towards the success of our auction, as well as assure that your gift will be published in the ACE catalog. Donation deadline to be included in the ACE Catalog is 3/1/12. Those who contribute a gift or cash, purchase an auction ticket, or purchase advertising space in the catalog are invited to attend the Preview Party from 8:00-10:00 p.m. on Friday, April 27, 2012 in the fieldhouse. Enjoy refreshments and buy a chance to win one of two $500 cash prizes.
If you would like to purchase raffle tickets in advance for three $1,000 Cash Prizes, one $2,500 Cash Prize, one $5,000.00 Cash Prize and a 2012 Ford Fusion SE 4 DR, contact our office, and we will get your information or look for the form with the ACE mailing to be sent the last week in January. If you purchase two tickets for any of the above raffle drawings, you will receive the third ticket for that raffle free. Please note that each ticket has a different price:
1) 2012 Ford Fusion SE 4 DR Raffle Prize (valued over $20,000.00)
is $100/ticket or 3/$200;
2) $5,000 Cash Raffle Prize is $25/ticket or 3/$50;
3) $2,500 Cash Raffle Prize is $15/ticket or 3/$30;
4) $1,000 Cash Raffle Prize is $10/ticket or 3/$20 – Three chances to win!
