Student Council kicks off the school year with an assembly to announce the theme for the year, generate school spirit, and welcome the students back.

Homecoming is one of the most memorable weeks and occurs in September each year. Monday, the student council hosts an all school barbeque and class competitions. Tuesday they build their class floats. Wednesday, students celebrate with an all school mass. Thursday, brings the bon fire and blessing. On Friday there is a parade down Main Street and the football game. Saturday night students dance the night away at the first semi-formal dance of the year.

The TMP marching band leads the homecoming parade down Main Street to Lewis Field for the homecoming football game. The community comes out to say hi to returning alumni, fill their candy bags, and admire the student floats.

A variety of activities are offered in the fall. There is something for everyone... athletics, music, drama, debate, book club and campus ministry, just to name a few! All students can find a place to belong. An organization fair is held at the beginning of the school year to help students find the right fit.

The soccer team takes a knee and a moment to pray before their upcoming competition. Spirituality is infused into all activities and regular daily life.

Students productions are part of the fall and spring semesters. The cast is determined by auditions with the director. Another opportunity for students to demonstrate their talents is through the stage crew.
Students with drama interests can also compete in forensics in the spring.
While we highly encourage students to get involved in co-curricular activities, their academics must remain a priority. Our highly qualified staff give students an engaging and challenging academic experience to provide skills to be successful at the next level.

Challenging the students' critical thinking skills, Mr. Brull coaches the chess team and holds practice two times a week. It is not unusual to find him challenging a student in the cafeteria to a game of chess.

In the fall auditions are held for the TMP Singers and Monarch Ladies. In February they entertain community members with their annual dinner show. With contemporary music and choreography the dinner show is not to be missed.

At the end of the first semester the male and female residents come together with the advisors and directors to share their holiday customs and traditions. Carols echo down the hallways after an amazing dinner is served to the students and staff by the TMP ambassadors.

An active winter keeps students home and sometimes causes early dismissals. Students, parents and staff help each other scrape the car windows to make sure everyone can leave campus safely.
