Greetings from Your Campus Minister

Campus Minister At TMP-Marian we have embraced the concept of total stewardship; giving of our time, talent and resources in service to our church, families, school, and community.  Under the guidance of this ministry students fulfill a minimum of ten hours of service each quarter.

My day entails working closely with all personnel and the student body of TMP-Marian as well as to share resources and visit our other Hays Catholic school, Holy Family Elementary.

Our greatest mission is to know Christ intimately through the Mass, frequent sacraments, prayer and Christ centered education.  Following the revelation of Christ we witness of His love; first to one another, then in our family, school and communities.

We are to be the light in our world; to embrace the gift of God, to know firsthand the saving grace of His son Jesus, and to be open to receive the Holy Spirit.  This aim is the passion of my life.

The scripture spoken to my heart while seeking God's will regarding becoming TMP's Campus Minister was Jeremiah 1:4-10.  The Lord spoke his word to me, saying:  "Before I made you in your mother's womb, I chose you.  Before you were born, I set you apart for a special work.  I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."  Then I said, "But Lord God, I don't know how to speak.  I am only a boy."  But the Lord said to me, "Don't say, I am only a boy.' You must go everywhere I send you, and you must say everything I tell you to say.  Don't be afraid of anyone, because I am with you to protect you," says the Lord.  Then the Lord reached out his hand and touched my mouth.  He said to me,  "See, I am putting my words in your mouth.  Today I have put you in charge of nations and kingdoms.  You will pull up and tear down, destroy and overthrow, build up and plant."

There is much work to be done for the sake of the Kingdom in the home of TMP-Marian.

Committed to pray, play and partner,
