Natural Helpers

The purpose of the natural helpers organization is to train and prepare students to assist fellow students with personal, social and developmental issues.  All new members attend an all-day training session and participate in monthly follow-up sessions concerning various counseling topics.

Activities for this year include Mix it up Lunch, Compliment Day, and a presentation at Holy Family School for Red Ribbon Week.  The picture at left shows the "mix it up at lunch" activity where students were competing to build the tallest and most elegant structures using toothpicks and marshmallows.  The event was designed to encourage students to meet new friends during the lunch break. 

Natural Helpers meets on the first Tuesday of each month during activity period.  Mrs. Kathy Taylor is the sponsor.
