Whether you deliberately found our website or came across it by chance let me be the first to welcome you to Thomas More Prep-Marian High School and the Hays Catholic School system.  I invite you to tour our website and learn more about our talented faculty, school history, academic offerings and many student opportunities. It will be my pleasure to personally speak with you if you are unable to find the information you are looking for.

    "Don't be alarmed," he said. "You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go; tell his disciples and Peter, 'He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you." Mark 16:2-7

    In this passage, we are told the story after Christ’s resurrection where visitors who came to see Jesus were told to “Come and see that He is risen,” then “Go and tell the world what has happened.”  At Thomas More Prep-Marian, we can relate well to this passage.  Because we are a private, Catholic, co-ed boarding school we are fortunate to be able to share the message of Christ’s teachings in our schools every day.  The predominant population of our school consists of local Catholic students, but, because of our private school status and boarding opportunities, we also have students who are not Catholic but just as integral to the spiritual and communal feel of Thomas More Prep-Marian.  We invite all people to “come and see” Thomas More Prep-Marian and, just as the angel instructed the visitors to Christ’s tomb, “go and tell the world what you have seen!”

Our namesake and patron, Saint Thomas More, was a man of deep faith and personal conviction.  His assessment of what education should be was as accurate in the 16th century as it is today.  “Education is not the piling on of learning, information, data, facts, skills, or abilities - that's training or instruction - but is rather making visible what is hidden as a seed.”   It is our daily mission to provide an environment where our students will reach their full potential and beyond.  We do this by adhering to our mission at Thomas More Prep-Marian:
