ACE 2020 is moving online. Everyone is invited!

We have a sharp increase in COVID-19 cases in Ellis County and based on information and recommendations from our local medical community, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the in-person auction event and move ACE 2020 to an online platform. Because of the social aspect of ACE (which is really what made the decision so difficult) we cannot provide adequate precautions in the space available to safely host nearly 500 guests.
A HUGE thank you to Hays Medical Center and The HaysMed Foundation for your help to scramble, sponsor, and quickly help us move the auction online!
There are some wonderful benefits that the online format provides and our hope is that because of the support of so many, we will still have a great auction for the school! The Dreiling Trust matching funds are still available on gifts to Item #60 and raffle tickets can be purchased all the way until the drawing on Saturday evening. The auction is no longer limited to only those attending, any supporter, anywhere in the world, can now benefit the school by bidding on the items!
Each $100 ticket holder to the auction will automatically be given raffle tickets for the cash prizes. If you would like a different arrangement, including refunds, please contact the Alumni office at (785) 650-4514 or We need to hear from you by Wednesday, July 15 if you do not wish your tickets to be entered into the raffle.
Here is what ACE will look like this year..
Friday July 17th from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, all of the auction items (both oral and silent) will be on display in Al Billinger Fieldhouse. Those that wish to view the items in-person before bidding are welcome to come but images of each item will be online when the auction is available. There will be no food or beverage service during this open house.
The online auction will be open for bidding beginning at 9:00 am on Friday, July 17th through Saturday, July 18th at 10:00 pm. Bidding for items will close at various times through the evening on Saturday. Contributions to Item #60 will be available for the duration of the online event. A “live” Raffle drawing will be done via the TMP-M website at 10:00 pm on 7/18.
Sunday, 7/19, 11:00 am – 4:00 pm, purchased items will be available for pickup at Al Billinger Fieldhouse. We will have volunteers available to help retrieve your items. If you are are unable to come during this time arrangements for temporary storage can be made by contacting the Alumni office. The school will not be able to facilitate the shipment of any items.
