Fort Hays Fall College of Health and Behavioral Sciences Day is October 24th
This free event is open to high school juniors and seniors in the 2025-2026 school year, as well as transfer students interested in careers in the health and behavioral sciences. Students will:
Visit all six departments in the College of Health and Behavioral Sciences (Allied Health, Communication Sciences and Disorders, Health and Human Performance, Nursing, Psychology, and Social Work).
Learn about academic, career, and other unique educational opportunities within the departments.
Tour academic facilities, including clinical and simulation labs.
Engage with faculty, staff, and students in each department.

K-State Engineering Night
Wednesday, Mar. 25 | Hays, Kansas
Hilton Garden Inn – Hays 6:30 - 7:30 pm
The Carl R. Ice College of Engineering will host this event for high school students interested in pursuing an engineering, computer science or construction science degree at K-State.
Representatives will lead an interactive presentation for students and their guests on the following topics:
Types of engineering
Engineering careers
Successfully transitioning to an engineering degree
Q&A session with K-State engineering students and college leaders
Students who register and attend will receive a free K-State engineering-branded T-shirt!
The College of Engineering will award a $1,000 scholarship* to a high school senior or transfer student and a $500 scholarship* to two high school juniors in attendance.
Jayhawk Doc 105

Jayhawk Doc 105 is a 30-minute Zoom session, hosted by a current medical student from your area that will:
highlight their personal path to medical school including why they chose the KU School of Medicine
provide guidance to future medical school applicants
highlight premedical and early assurance programs available

FHSU Health and Behavioral Sciences Day
Friday, April 17th 2026 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
The event is open to high school juniors, seniors, and transfer students interested in careers in the health and behavioral sciences. This event is free and will include a buffet-style lunch.
Students will:
Visit all six departments in the College of Health and Behavioral Sciences.
Learn about academic, career, and other unique educational opportunities within the departments.
Tour academic facilities, including clinical and simulation labs.
Engage with faculty, staff, and students in each department.
Have an opportunity to obtain additional information at the end-of-day browsing fair.
Visit with representatives of the Admissions Office to learn more about FHSU.
