Financial Aid Workshop
TMP-Marian will host a Financial Aid Workshop on Wednesday, October 22nd at 6:30 pm in the Learning Commons. A member of the FHSU Financial Aid office will be the presenter. This event will be most helpful for seniors and their parents, but all interested students and parents are invited to attend. Topics for the evening will include cost of attendance, expected family contribution, financial aid categories, types and sources of financial aid and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) which is used for Federal grants and loans.
Scholarships for 25/26:
Going Merry Future Fund Scholarship - 9-12th grade
Deadline: September 30th
is a $500 scholarship opportunity open to all high school students, grades 9-12. You can use this scholarship to attend a 4-year university, community college, or a trade school.
The funds can be used for tuition, books, supplies, or other education-related expenses. The application is simple, with no GPA requirement and no essay.
The scholarship will be open from August 27, 2025, through September 30, 2025. I encourage every student to take a few minutes to apply. Click here to apply.
Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation - Seniors
Deadline: September 30th
Each year, the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation awards 150 college scholarships worth $20,000 to high school students across the United States through the Coca-Cola Scholars Program.
Students need to be graduating high school during the 2025-2026 school year, have at least a 3.0 GPA, and to complete an online application that requires no essays, no recommendations, and no transcript by September 30, 2025, at 5 p.m.

Hansen Career & Technical Education - Seniors
Deadline: October 20th
$4,000 ANNUALLY RENEWABLE FOR 1 ADDITIONAL YEAR
One hundred scholarships of $4,000 each are available to encourage students who seek competence through career and technical education (1 or 2-year programs) at the following schools in Northwest Kansas: Fort Hays Tech | North Central (Beloit and Hays), Colby Community College, Fort Hays Tech | Northwest, Academy of Hair Design (Hays and Salina), Cloud County Community College, Salina Area Technical College, Fort Hays State University (2-year program), or Kansas State Polytechnic (2-year program).
The Career and Technical Education Scholarships carry a stipend of $4,000 and are renewable for one additional year, providing the recipient has achieved at least a 3.00 GPA at the college level. With one renewal, the scholarship will be $8,000 over the two-year period. Students seeking a 4-year degree are not eligible.
Students may obtain application forms from high school principals or counselors. These forms must be completed and received by the Foundation office by October 20, 2025.
Three letters of reference are due in the Foundation office by October 20, 2025. It is the student’s responsibility to see that reference letters are received by the Hansen Foundation. One letter of reference must be submitted by either your high school counselor or principal.
CONDITIONS: Applicants must be full-time students who will graduate in the current academic year from a high school in the 26-county area of Northwest Kansas. Applicants should display good character. A 3.50 GPA is not necessary to apply for the Career and Technical Education Scholarship. There is no qualifying test for the Career and Technical Education Scholarship. Recipients may enroll in any career and technical education program, in any of the following Northwest Kansas schools: Fort Hays Tech | North Central (Beloit & Hays), Colby Community College, Fort Hays Tech | Northwest, Academy of Hair Design (Hays & Salina), Cloud County Community College, Salina Area Technical College, Fort Hays State University (2-year program) and Kansas State Polytechnic (2-year program) — as long as it does not lead to a four-year degree. All recipients must be enrolled as full-time students. ** ***Mrs. Fox has handouts if you are interested!!!
Chick-fil-a Community Scholars - Seniors

National FFA Scholarship Programs - Seniors
Deadline: November 1st
Through the National FFA Foundation, businesses and individuals support scholarships that are awarded to students with a wide variety of higher education plans and career goals. FFA provides scholarships that support all areas of agriculture, either in trade schools, certifications, or college. Scholarships support FFA high school seniors and collegiate members. Just one application is required for multiple scholarship opportunities totaling close to $2 million. See the link for more information.
National Honor Society Scholarship - Seniors
Deadline: November 24th
To be eligible, a student must be:
A high school senior
An active member in good standing of a National Honor Society chapter, meeting all membership requirements and obligations of the local chapter.
An NHS student account holder, verified by the NHS chapter adviser.
Planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. college or university.

Rudd Scholarship - Seniors
Deadline: December 1st
Requirements: Must have cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0 or above, be a resident of the state of Kansas, be admitted and will attend either Emporia State, Fort Hays State, K-State, or Wichita State university full time in the coming Fall, Demonstrate financial need (pell-eligible), and have an ACT score at the time of submission. Hagan Scholarship - Seniors
Deadline: December 1st
The Hagen Scholarship is a need-based merit scholarship for goal-driven students in the high school graduating class. We would like to award 1,200 new four-year scholarships for the upcoming academic year of college. It is not unusual to award multiple scholarships to students attending the same school. Coolidge Scholarship - Juniors
Deadline: December 16th
The Coolidge Scholarship is a full-ride, four-year, merit scholarship that recipients may use for undergraduate study at any accredited college or university in the United States. Any high school junior who plans to enroll in college in the fall of 2027 and is an American citizen or legal permanent resident is eligible to apply. Academic excellence is the primary criterion considered by the Coolidge Scholarship. Secondary criteria includes an interest in public policy and an appreciation of the values that President Coolidge championed. The application requires that candidates read President Coolidge's Autobiography and a few other readings then write three essays. For more information click the link.
Smoky Hill Pheasants Forever Chapter 424 Scholarship - Seniors
Deadline: December 23rd
The Smoky Hill pheasants forever scholarship will annually recognize an Ellis, Rush, or Trego County high school senior who will attend a university, college, or vocational technical school in Kansas after graduation. One scholarship in the amount of $500.00 will be awarded to a qualifying senior. Must have 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher. Application essay topic is how Kansas can improve the habitat for upland game. Kansas Kiwanis Foundation Scholarships - Seniors
Deadline: February 1
This year the Kansas Kiwanis Foundation will award 35 scholarships to Kansas High School and College students worth $20,700.00 to assist them with their education.
Scholarship Applications must be postmarked no later than Saturday, February 1, 2025. Applications are reviewed and recommendations are made to the Board in March. Recipients are notified following the Board decision. Funding is sent in August to the institution to which the applicant will be attending once the award requirements are met by the recipient. The Horatio Alger Association is seeking students who display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity, and plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree. Students must have financial need and a determination to turn adversity into opportunity and pursue their American Dream.

Space Exploration Scholarship - Seniors

The Ad Astra Kansas Foundation, a non-profit organization, is offering college scholarships for students attending Kansas institutions who are studying for careers in space exploration. Areas of study may include but are not limited to planetary science, astronomy, astrobiology, human spaceflight, rocketry, spacecraft design, and robotics. A $500 scholarship will be awarded to an incoming freshman for the 2026–2027 academic year. Each winner will receive two Cosmosphere all-mission tickets. Applicants must be planning to enroll as a full-time undergraduate student in an accredited Kansas college, university, or vocational-technical school for the 2026-2027 school year. Eligible majors include science, engineering, or any program that can contribute to the advancement of space exploration. Golden Belt Bank Scholarship - Seniors

At Golden Belt Bank, we are committed to making the one story you’re writing–the one life you’re living–better. Helping fund your post-secondary education is a page of that effort. If you are planning on attending an accredited post-secondary school (college, university, area vocational technical college, technical school, community college or proprietary school) full-time in the fall of 2026, review the qualifications listed below and consider applying. Ten non-renewable $1,000 scholarships will be awarded. Applications must be submitted by March 31, 2026.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be high school seniors who currently reside in or attend a high school located in Ellis County, Kansas or Morgan County, Colorado.
