We have big changes right around the corner that will affect our dismissal process, school masses and P.E. classes! Due to IHM Church construction, starting Monday, January 29th our school Gym will be the temporary location of IHM Church services, and dismissal will all run through the Activity Center. Please see today's newsletter for all of those details since this will affect all HFE families!!! School masses on Tuesday/Thursday mornings will all be celebrated in the Gym starting this same date, lasting through February and most of March. IHM hopes to be moved back over to the church using their basement for masses by Easter, but this is all tentative and subject to change! P.E. classes will run in the Activity Center and blacktop outside when the weather allows it. We will keep our parents posted if anything changes. Thank you for your cooperation and flexibility as we navigate these changes during the church renovations!
We'd love to "SEA" you at the Book Fair during the Chili Supper! Orders can even be placed online during Catholic Schools Week! Students can also shop for items all during that week at their normal scheduled library times! It's going to be another great Book Fair!
Greetings parents! We will have a Delayed Start tomorrow morning, Tuesday 1/16 at Holy Family. Students can report to classrooms at 9:45 & school will start at 10:00 a.m. There will be NO morning half-day PK3/4!! Dismissal will all run as usual. Stay warm and safe!!

The PIGS are officially here and open for business! This year, each grade is combined together in one pig, such as KA and KB are combined into one Kindergarten pig, and all donations for a grade level will be tallied together for those students to earn incentives together! KinderPrep will be combined with PK3/PK4!
Pigs will remain on this table outside of the school office and students can bring coins, cash or check from home, or parents are welcome to stop by and "feed" the pigs of their choice! Pigs are brought inside and locked up after dismissal! You can stop by the Gym at the Chili Supper to feed the pigs, or donate from the convenience of your own phones! Each grade's pig will be available on the handy Silent Auction link that will be sent out right before Chili Supper weekend, so even loved ones from afar can donate to pigs or bid on great auction items! All donations go to the operating budget of HFE and help our school in such a huge way!!

We are in need of Silent Auction items at this time!!! Please consider donating an item or service, whether from your family or business! Items that go over well include anything from household goods to kitchen appliances, toys to event tickets, and gift baskets! You can get your family involved and put together a great auction basket for any theme under the sun! In the past, we've had some great ideas come in, such as Barbie, Crayola, Spa Night, Chiefs/Royals, Snow Day, Movie Night, and much more! This is a great chance to get creative! Auction baskets do not need to be expensive to be neat items! Bring your item by the school office anytime! Thank you for your support in these huge ways!!

Tomorrow is Mary's Baby Shower at HFE! Students can bring a wrapped baby gift or homemade card to school for mothers in need in our community! Students will unwrap gifts & enjoy refreshments before Catholic Charities picks the gifts up! Thank you for your support!

Our annual Chili Supper & Bazaar is right around the corner, and we are in need of raffle prize donations!!! We are seeking prizes for both children and adults with a retail value of $100 or more!! For the "Friends of HFE Raffle", we are seeking prizes valued at $500 or more. Monetary donations to be used for cash prizes will also be gratefully appreciated!! Raffle donations are not needed in-hand until January, but we must have your name and information in time for the printers by December 13! Mrs. Howard's 4th graders made sugar skulls and painted them in STREAM class with Mr. Lucio! The students enjoyed the TMP Spanish students visiting 4th grade for Dia de los Muertos!
