TMP-Marian seniors Carson Liles and Caden Dinkel invite youth baseball players ages 7–13 to join them for a baseball skills camp on Saturday, March 14, from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM.

Come learn, practice, and have fun while supporting a great cause! All proceeds will be donated to the Arc of Central Plains in support of the Special Olympics.

Winter Pep Rally will be tomorrow, Thursday, February 12th at 2:30pm in the Al Billinger Fieldhouse. All are welcome to join as we celebrate our winter sports and the Sweetheart Candidates. Go Monarchs!

TMP-Marian 8th graders Arianna Cantrell-Diaz, Ella Giebler, and Shea Goddard McGuirk spent the past weekend on mission and service in Denver. Activities included serving at four meal times at Samaritan House shelter, visiting St. John Vianney Seminary, and pilgrimage to the St. Frances Cabrini shrine. The Chess Team travelled to Concordia Lutheran Academy Saturday, February 7, and brought home team and individual honors.

The High School team finished first in their division with 15 points, ahead of Valley Center, with 14 1/2 points, and Ellinwood with 9 points. Individually, all five members of the team had at least even scores, the lower boards providing the margin of victory. Sophomores Cade Schlautman finished 4th with 4 1/2 points, Ethan Gibson was 5th with 4 points, Colby Schmeidler was 8th with 3 1/2 points, Zack Billinger was 10th with 3 points, and Dylan Billinger was 13th with 3 points. All the members of the team played the top four from Valley Center in the final round, scoring two wins and a draw against one loss to pull ahead by 1/2 point. An irregularity in the tabulation of points resulted in an attempt to award TMP second place team based on 5th round scores, but an alert coach protested, and the scores were re-calculated.

The Junior High team finished second in their division with 16 1/2 points, behind the Classical School of Wichita's 18 points, but ahead of Brooks Middle School with 14. 8th Graders Braden Unrein finished 3rd with 5 points, Alex Unrein was 5th with 4 1/2 points, Joshua Marintzer was 12th with 4 points, and Garret Billinger was 21st with 3 points.

Next Saturday, February 14, the team will travel to Concordia, KS to play in their invitational. Then, on February 28, TMP will host its own tournament, rescheduled from January 24's snowstorm. On March 7, TMP will travel to Wichita again for a tournament at St. Francis of Assisi, and on March 14, the season ends with the State Championship at Emporia State.

The TMP-M varsity Scholars Bowl team competed extremely well at Regionals yesterday and took 4th. Although this is one place away from qualifying for state, the team played their hardest and I am extremely proud of all of them! It has been an extraordinary season, especially as my first year as coach! I have had the amazing pleasure of watching the team grow and challenge themselves again and again! Thank you to everyone who came to support us and I look forward to the next season of TMP-M Scholars Bowl!

The Lady Monarch basketball team took time this morning before our practice to pick up trash in Al Billinger Fieldhouse after last night's home game vs. Smith Center. These ladies are a special group. Thank you ladies for your service!

Erin Giebler, HR Director with the City of Hays, came and spoke to the junior class about interview techniques and ways to help them land their dream jobs. So thankful that members of our community can share their knowledge with our students!

The TMP-M Varsity Scholars Bowl team placed 2nd at Osborne's Varsity Scholars Bowl Tournament! Please come and support us as we go to Trego Community High School on Thursday 2/5 at 4:30 to compete at Regionals!

This last week, the TMP-Marian High School Varsity Scholars Bowl team had 2 very good tournaments! They took 4th after a 3 way tie for 2nd place at Phillipsburg and then 3rd place at Norton! Well done!!!!! We will be off to Regionals on 2/5 at WaKeeney-Trego!

The varsity scholars bowl team took third place at the MCEL tournament on Monday! On Tuesday, the JV scholars bowl team took 4th place at Hutchinson High School! Both teams competed very well against tough competition this week!!

The TMP-M Varsity and JV scholars bowl teams traveled to St. John's Catholic School in Beloit for a joint tournament. Both teams competed outstandingly and represented TMP-M extremely well. Varsity went 4-3 and JV went 4-2. This was JV's last tournament and they topped the season off with a great finish. I am very proud of all the students who went to compete!!

We're excited to see our new Creative Technology Center officially getting its sign! While the building isn't complete, the interior is approximately 25% finished, with progress being made every week.
