Chloe Purinton (incoming junior) will compete at the State Finals for Kansas High School Rodeo Association this week in Mulvane, KS. Chloe has competed in nine different KSHRA rodeos during the fall and spring semesters. The Border Bash in Guthrie, OK, held at Lazy E Arena, kicked off the spring semester where contestants from 14 states were represented. KSHRA requires contestants to remain in good standing with their school by submitting report cards and eligibility forms. We wish Chloe safe travels and good luck competing this week!

Today FFA members and Ms. Timmer's students in agriculture fabrications took a field trip to tour Wilkens Manufacturing. Steve Wilkens, TMP alumni, happily showed the students around moving to each station at the plant to show how they assemble their walking trailers as well as learning about the different trailer types and what they are used for. In addition they learned about inventory, the history of the company, education and opportunities in vocational work, and where they have other facilities throughout the country. Big thank you to the Wilkens Family for having us today and being supporters of TMP-Marian!
