Thank you to the group of men who cut down and removed three large dead trees on campus on Monday and Tuesday.
Bill Heimann, Mark '95 Lang, Justin Baalmann, Logan '27 Baalmann, Eric Moeder, Grant Stephenson, and Carter '31 Stephenson braved the heat to help beautify and maintain our campus. They brought their own equipment and hauled away all of the debris.
Thank you gentlemen for your stewardship. You are a perfect example of what makes Hays Catholic Schools so special!

Host Family Needed for a Junior Girl.
Uyen (pronounced Oo-Yen) is accepted to attend Thomas More Prep-Marian for the 2025-26 school year. Pending her student visa approval, we will need a host family for her.
Uyen is from Vietnam and will turn 16 in September. She has a younger brother and lives with both her parents in Hue, Vietnam (look at the two beautiful pictures from her city). She speaks English very well and has studied voice for 9 years. She also loves to play volleyball and badminton. She is a very mature young lady who routinely helps her family.
Uyen is interviewing for her visa in late July. There is a chance that the visa is denied, but if it is approved, TMP-M will need a host family for her on short notice.
If you have the capacity and are interested in opening your home to Uyen, please contact Chad Meitner at meitnerc@tmpmarian.org. We will be happy to share more details about this amazing young lady!

Let’s come together as a school and diocesan family to celebrate the gift of the Eucharist. Don’t miss this amazing opportunity for grace and growth before the new school year begins!

We would like to invite you to a Eucharistic procession on June 22 at 3 p.m. beginning and ending in TMP-Marian's Grotto.
Eucharistic processions are beautiful displays of faith and devotion. Because they are less frequent than Masses, they stand out in our collective memories, especially for young people who will look back on their early faith experiences with fondness. Come share this event with other families and people of faith.
The procession will last approximately 90 minutes and include some light walking (approx. 600 yards) with stops. This activity is great for younger and older kids alike. Water will be provided as well as access to restrooms.
If you have any questions, you can contact any Heartland Parish office or TMP-Marian at 785-625-6577. All are invited!

We are proud to announce that we have hired alum Whitney Befort as the new Monarch Scholars Bowl coach.

Framing by Hess Services is underway for the Creative Learning Building at Thomas More Prep-Marian. The facility will house technological tools for prototyping, construction, and instructional space for the hard sciences, art, and agriculture. Course offerings will be expanded to include welding, CAD, engineering, and specialized industrial arts.
Thank you everyone who has helped make this facility possible. We continue to seek funds to complete the interior of the project, so if you are interested in helping, please contact Travis Grizzell in the Advancement Office at grizzellt@tmpmarian.org or Matt Brown, CLB Director, at brownm@tmpmarian.org.

This past Saturday, two TMP-Marian alumni were ordained to the priesthood for the Diocese of Salina. We are so proud of Frs. Adam '13 Urban and Kade '13 Megaffin.
We will continue to pray for you and your ministries and look forward to seeing you at the school in whatever capacity the good Lord has planned for the future. May God bless you and your families always!
Pictured are Fr. Adam's and Fr. Kade's senior photos from TMP-Marian in 2013. The other photos show them at their ordination on Saturday.

Congratulations to Haley '25 Stecklein who was recently notified that she has been awarded the Dane G. Hansen Student Scholarship worth $4,000 a year for up to two years.
Haley will attend the University of Kansas and major in Biomedical Engineering. She is the daughter of Doug '86 and Stephanie Stecklein.
This brings to 6 the number of students from the TMP-M class of 2025 who received Hansen scholarships.

While summer is well underway, I wanted to share a summary of a 2024-25 report on our classroom instruction. TMP-Marian takes seriously the duty to educate and prepare students for their future.
