Congratulations to Henry '24 Meitner on the grand opening of the new Historic Downtown Hays Walking Tour. Henry's senior capstone project was to work with Amanda Rupp and the Ellis County Historical Society to improve the walking tour. He helped add a smartphone app that provides visitors and tourists a more accessible and interactive experience. We love to see Monarchs do good for the community! Come meet Matt Brown, TMP-M's Career and Technical Education teacher, on June 12 at 6 p.m. in the Fr. Blaine Learning Commons, for an introduction to course offerings and technology available in the soon-to-be-built Creative Learning Building (CLB). All are invited to meet Matt and hear more about his vision and the future offerings of the CLB and the Career and Technical Education department. TMP-Marian guides students in well-rounded development while they discern their passions and interests. The capabilities of the CLB and the expertise of Mr. Brown will allow students of all pathways (advanced college degree, 4-year college, 2-year college, or workforce) to expand their education. Students, parents, and community members are welcome for the short presentation and chance to ask questions. We look forward to seeing you on June 12!

Brungardt headed to State Golf! Junior Heuer Brungardt fired a 78 at the 2A golf regional in Hill City on Monday to qualify for the 2A State Tournament to be held next Monday and Tuesday at Mariah Hills in Dodge City. "Heuer hit the ball extremely well yesterday," said head coach Bryan Vonfeldt. "You take away one hole and he would have been right there competing for a regional championship. I was really proud of the way he battled today." "Dodge City’s course sets up really well for Heuer. If the putter can get hot, I think he can be right there at the top pf the leaderboard come day 2 of the State Tournament. " Good luck Heuer!
