We want to send a heartfelt thank you to Dave and Donna Ward as well as Irvin Leiker for the countless hours they have dedicated to maintaining and beautifying the TMP-Marian Grotto this summer and over the past several years.

Through the heat and long days, they have generously given their time and talents to care for one of the most beautiful and meaningful places on our campus. Their selfless service ensures that students, families, faculty, alumni, and visitors can continue to enjoy this peaceful space for years to come. We are truly blessed to have individuals like Dave, Donna, and Irvin who have so faithfully give of themselves to make our school a better place.

Please join us in thanking them for their dedication, hard work, and love for the TMP-Marian community. We are incredibly grateful for all they do!

The Monarch Statue is Back!

Recently, you may have noticed the small construction in front of the fieldhouse. This work marks the return of the Monarch bison statue after a nearly 10-year hiatus.

The original bison statue was donated by Joe Hess and others and completed in January 2007. It held court in front of historic Al Billinger Fieldhouse for 10 years before being removed to expand restrooms in 2017.

The returning bison statue and required foundation and masonry work has been donated by John '82 Moeder. This will be a new statue, and there are plans to include a compartment for time capsules. The original bison statue is slated to be installed near the entrances to the baseball and softball facilities. This is also made possible by Moeder.

Priestly Ordination This Friday!

All are welcome to attend the upcoming ordination on Friday at 2 p.m. using school transportation, departing from TMP-M at 11:30 a.m. and returning to Hays by 5:30 p.m. Just use this link by Thursday to let us know you are joining us!

https://forms.gle/LZZVCJCBL2rz24ky5

Invitation from President Hammeke:

I would like to take a moment to reiterate the invitation from Mr. Meitner to attend the Priestly Ordination of Deacon Luke Friess and Deacon Benjamin King on June 12 at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Salina.

Having attended a handful of Priestly Ordinations in my life, it is truly an event that I would hope everyone could experience at some point in their lives. It’s very special, and I can assure you that if you are able to attend, you will be glad you did.

In addition, this year’s Ordination will have particular significance to those of us associated with Hays Catholic Schools. As you are probably already aware, once ordained, Father Friess will be assigned as Chaplain at TMP-Marian, and Parochial Vicar of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. Consequently, he will be directly engaged with our students at TMP-Marian, along with our students at Holy Family Elementary.

What a unique opportunity this provides for our students, parents, faculty, and staff to actually witness this special day in the life of the priest who will be serving our schools!

As Mr. Meitner previously mentioned, TMP-M does plan to provide transportation for students needing a ride to Salina, departing from TMP-M at 11:30 a.m. on June 12 and returning to Hays by around 5:30 p.m.

https://forms.gle/LZZVCJCBL2rz24ky5

I realize life is busy and schedules are hectic, but in my realization of the magnitude of this special day, I would like to encourage as many as possible to experience it!
